M. Kivaughn Shelton is the Program Coordinator for the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) of Pure Recovery Treatment in Oxnard California. Before being named Program Coordinator, he served as the Treatment Center Director of an outpatient SUD facility in December 2017. M. Kivaughn Shelton was responsible for all the company’s day to day service provision of the medical, clinical, and fiscal operations as well as the regulatory compliance with the state, county, and city. M. Kivaughn Shelton has over 30 years’ experience in the field of mental health, regulatory compliance and substance use disorder. M. Kivaughn Shelton earned his undergraduate degree from the Chicago State University and his master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Illinois (Chicago). Mr. Shelton is a registered counselor in the treatment of SUD and had conducted hours of group and individual therapy. Mr. Shelton is committed to the holistic treatment of concussive disorder and the process towards the restoration of normalcy.
